Interchange
Initiative which promotes and encourages the exchange of people and good practice between the Civil Service and other sectors. This may occur through secondments, attachments, shadowing, mentoring, joint training, or contact/ discussion groups.
Modernising Government Good Practice Database
Website holding over 1,000 case studies of initiatives across the Modernising Government agenda. Many involve inter-agency working. (Cabinet Office)
Virtuall.org
Network to help better practice in mental health become the established practice in London, aimed especially at front-line staff who may have limited opportunities to meet others. Involves on-line resources on policy and practice, plus e-discussion groups. Also organises practical programmes (eg, on conflict management) and development networks.
Working Together, Learning Together
Training programme funded by the Scottish Executive to support all the partners involved in Social Inclusion Partnerships and Working for Communities Pathfinders. Involves training modules bringing together partners across public, private and community sectors.
